The Latin American Council is the highest decision-making body of SELA, made up of one representative of each Member State. It meets annually and is in charge of establishing the general policies of the organisation.<\/p>\n

The sessions of the XLVIII Regular Meeting of the Latin American Council of SELA will be held at the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat, both in person and virtually.<\/p>\n

The Preparatory Stage will take place on Tuesday, 29 November at 11:00 a.m. and the Ministerial Meeting on 30 November at 11:00 a.m. (Venezuelan time).<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n

ITEM I. THEMES OF THE XLVIII REGULAR MEETING OF THE LATIN AMERICAN COUNCIL<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pursuant to Article 22 of the Regulations of the Latin American Council, the Annotated agenda and themes for work of the \u201cXLVIII Regular Meeting of the Latin American Council\u201d (SP\/CL\/XLVIII.O\/DT N\u00ba 2-22) will be submitted for consideration and approval of the delegations. The approved agenda will be discussed.<\/p>\n

ITEM II. ANNUAL REPORT OF THE PERMANENT SECRETARIAT<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Permanent Secretariat will present the \u201cForty-sixth Annual Report of the Permanent Secretariat\u201d (SP\/CL\/XLVIII.O\/DT N\u00ba 3-22) corresponding to the activities carried out since the last Regular Meeting of the Latin American Council until this date.<\/p>\n

ITEM III. UPDATED WORK PROGRAMME FOR 2022-2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Permanent Secretariat will bring forward the updated Work Programme for 2022-2026, with a focus on activities for 2023 (SP\/CL\/XLVIII.O\/DT No. 4-22).<\/p>\n

ITEM IV. BUDGET OF THE PERMANENT SECRETARIAT FOR 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Permanent Secretariat will present the \u00abDraft Administrative Budget of the Permanent Secretariat for the year 2023\u00bb (SP\/CL\/XLVIII.O\/DT No. 5-22) and its rationale.<\/p>\n

ITEM V. ADMINISTRATIVE AND INSTITUTIONAL MATTERS<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Permanent Secretariat will bring forward the Audit Report on the Financial Statements of the Permanent Secretariat and the Proposed Audit for Fiscal Year 2022.<\/p>\n

    The Permanent Secretariat will present the Proposed Audit for Fiscal Year 2022.<\/p>\n

    Election of the new Bureau<\/strong><\/p>\n
