Currently, gender barriers in the labour market in Latin America and the Caribbean represent an obstacle to the insertion of women in highly skilled and leadership-intensive sectors. According to the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), in 2021 women held only 15% of managerial positions and owned only 14% of enterprises.<\/p>\n

The COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on the labour market, accentuating the gender gap even further. In this regard, it is necessary to promote practices that encourage the inclusion of women in non-traditional sectors, as well as the promotion of more equitable spaces.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n
